The State of Malbec...

There is no better time to add more Malbec in your life!

·       Argentine wine imports grew 43.2% in value & 34.1% in volume in 2008 vs 2007

·       Malbec was up an even stronger 61% in value and 60.4% in volume

·       Argentine wine imports have significantly outpaced ALL other major wine-producing countries for the past five years (see attached)

·       Argentina continues to lead the other major wine-producing countries in both growth of dollar and case volume sales.  February retail sales showed Argentine sales up 50% and 33%, respectively, over same period 2008, with New Zealand (21%) and Spain (13%) as distant runners-up.
